Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev met with a colleague from Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kr.

Meredov arrived in Bishkek at the head of the Turkmen delegation for the bilateral Kyrgyz-Turkmen political consultations.

During the meeting, the ministers discussed topical issues of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen cooperation in trade, economic, investment, transport and logistics, energy spheres and other most important directions and prospects of bilateral interaction.

Particular attention is paid to the organization and conduct of upcoming bilateral events at the highest and high levels, the increase in the contractual framework, as well as interaction within the framework of international organizations.

In this context, the ministers examined the execution of the execution of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to Turkmenistan (June 27-28, 2021) of the agreements.

Following the results of consultations by the heads of foreign policy departments of the two countries, a program of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for 2025-2026.
