Bishkek And Tashkent Discussed Strengthening Of Multifaceted Cooperation

The chairman of the cabin of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev during a working visit to Kazakhstan met with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting was held as part of the next meeting of the Eurasian Inter -government Council.

Kasymaliev emphasized the high dynamics of the consistent development of interstate connections between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in all areas of mutual interest. He also noted that in the economic direction of cooperation there is a steady increase in mutual trade, the nomenclature of goods is expanding, the volumes of export and imports are increasing.

In turn, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov congratulated on the appointment of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and wished further success in a responsible public office. Aripov invited his colleague to visit Uzbekistan and take part in the 4th Tashkent Investment Forum.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the relevant issues of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation, including the development of trade and economic ties, the implementation of joint investment projects and strengthening transport and logistics interaction.

Note that special attention was paid to issues of water-energy partnership, industrial cooperation and expansion of humanitarian contacts.

The heads of government of the two countries mutually expressed their readiness to further deepen cooperation aimed at ensuring sustainable economic growth and strengthening friendly ties between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
