Bishkek: development of bilateral relations with Tajikistan is priority direction of country’s foreign policy

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon received Kyrgyz Minister of Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev in Dushanbe.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kulubaev at the meeting noted that the development of bilateral relations with Tajikistan is a priority area of ​​the foreign policy of Kyrgyzstan.

The Foreign Minister informed the Tajik leader on the progress of the implementation by the parties to the agreements reached by the heads of state of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

During the conversation, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, prospects for the further development of the Kyrgyz-Tajik cooperation in the political, economic, economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres.

A exchange of opinions on cooperation in joint opposition to threats of international terrorism and extremism, interaction issues within the framework of regional and international organizations of the UN, CIS, CSTs and SCOs took place.
