US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed Russian-Iranian military-technical cooperation with the Israeli authorities, as well as the provision of support to Ukraine.
The chief of American diplomacy spoke about his contacts at a press conference in Jerusalem, where he is on an official visit.
According to him, the parties discussed the “deepening cooperation in order to confront and counteract the destabilizing actions” by Iran. Blinken claims that he discussed with representatives of the Israeli authorities “the strengthening ties of Tehran and Moscow and the modern weapons to which they exchange”, as well as “the importance of providing support to satisfy all the needs of Ukraine – humanitarian, economic, in the field of security”.
Military-technical cooperation of Iran and the Russian Federation causes serious concern for both the United States and Israel, the Secretary of State emphasized.
According to him, not only Iran supposedly “provides advanced military equipment of Russia”, but Russia supposedly “does the same in relation to Iran.”
“And this, of course, really bothers us and Israel,” said Blinken.
