US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that Russia will incur huge losses in the event of a new invasion of Ukraine. This was announced by the press service of the US State Department following the results of the telephone conversation of the Main Diplomat of the United States with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Culeboy.
Noting the overall concern about the increase in Russia of military forces near Ukraine Blinken and Kuleba discussed the results and subsequent steps after the dialogue on the strategic stability of the United States and Russia in Geneva and on the eve of the NATO-Russia Council meeting in Brussels.
Blinken repeated that if Russia chooses the way to further conflict, the United States and their allies are ready to impose huge costs of the Russian economy, strengthen the presence of NATO in the front-line states of the Alliance and increase defense assistance to Ukraine.
