US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that Washington did not understand the proposals of Poland on the transfer of MiG-29 fighters in the event of such a decision at the NATO level. He stated this at a joint press conference with the head of the UK Foreign Ministry Liz Trails.
Blinken stated that the proposal of Warsaw shows the difficulties of this situation.
“We are simply unclear what a substantial justification is to make it in the way that was proposed,” the American official noted.
Recall that earlier the Polish Prime Minister Mateush Morrazetsky said that Warsaw was not ready to put Kiev MiG-29 fighters independently and the decision should be accepted at the NATO level.
