German companies BMW and Volkswagen suspended the work of a number of European factories due to the lack of electrical cables that were imported from Ukraine, reports the Financial Times newspaper.
It is noted that the electrical plants located in Ukraine and produced the necessary products for BMW and Volkswagen plants, closed.
General Director of Volkswagen Herbert Diss (Herbert Dies) said that at present, the company considers alternatives that include the change of equipment. At the same time, the sources told the newspaper that some suppliers from Ukraine began to resume work.
