The American manufacturer of Boeing aircraft announced that he developed a solution that will allow aircraft like 737 Max 7 to undergo complex tests and verification of the US Federal Civil Aviation Department (FAA).
“We are developing a long -term solution in which thorough testing and verification of the Federal Civil Aviation Administration will be carried out,” Boeing quotes The Seattle Times
December 4, 2023, Boeing applied to FAA with a request to free 737 Max 7 from safety standards regarding the engine air intakes and the anti -oscillative system until 2026.
In August 2023, the Federal Directorate warned pilots using Boeing Max 8 and Max 9 aircraft to limit the use of the anti -icing system for five minutes under flight in dry conditions.
FAA said that otherwise air intakes around the engines can be heavily heated, and the details may come off, which will lead to damage to the aircraft.
