British Prime Minister Boris Johnson rejected the calls of scientists who demanded from the government to introduce more stringent measures to combat coronavirus, reports Russia Today.
Previously, the scientific advisory group for emergency situations called the growth rate of coronavirus in the country “critical”, after in the country the number of patients increased by 17.3 percent.
In turn, speaking at the center of vaccination in Western London on Friday October 22, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson rejected appeals of scientists to isolation against the background of the growth of the number of patients.
“At the moment we do not see anything, which would indicate the need of Lokdaun,” said Prime.
