British Prime Minister Boris Johnson rejected the possible ban of the British authorities in the country’s activities in the country of RT (previously Russia Today) of the Russian government financed by Doycely Vella.
“We follow the principle: We do not give politicians the right to prohibit one or another media organization,” said Johnson.
At the same time, Johnson pointed out that currently distributed by RT material, in his opinion, “causes great damage to truth.”
On the eve of the European Foreign Ministers of the EU countries agreed to ban Sputnik and RT broadcasting in the EU, as well as all their subsidiaries.
