The Foreign Minister of the EU countries agreed to continue to exert sanctions pressure on Russia and try to isolate it in the international arena. This was stated by the head of the EU diplomacy, Josep Borrel, writes foreign media.
“We will continue to isolate Russia in the international arena, continue to introduce restrictive measures against the Russian economy. We are ready to strengthen restrictive measures, impose sanctions against third countries that supply weapons and provide military support for Russia,” he said after the meeting of the Council of Ministers foreign affairs in Brussels.
In addition, Borrel announced the readiness of the European Union “to stand on the side of Ukraine before her victory.”
“We confirmed our priority task to continue the support of Ukraine. We heard the appeal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, and we had the opportunity to confirm that we would stand on the side of Ukraine before the victory of Ukraine,” he said.
