“As you know, after an earthquake in Turkey, the operator of the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Jahan oil pipeline and the Terminal Jaykhan temporarily suspended oil loading operations into a tanker. These operations resumed last Sunday after a thorough check and evaluate possible damage. We expect that we expect that From the end of this week – next week of the operation of oil loading in the tanker from the Jaikhan terminal will be included in the previous regime, i.e., the regime that was before the earthquake, ”Jones said at a press conference.
He noted that the audit conducted at the Baku-Tbilisi Jahan oil pipeline (BTC) in Turkey, including the pipeline itself, pumping stations and so on, did not reveal serious damage as a result of the earthquake.
“After the earthquake of oil export from Azerbaijan, the BTC did not stop. The transported oil was loaded into the tanks at the Jaykhan terminal. Oil operations were temporarily stopped in a tanker to check the landlords for damage after an earthquake,” said Jones.
