President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Kir Starmer signed an agreement between Ukraine and Great Britain on a centenary partnership. This was reported by the Ukrainian media.
The document was signed during the visit of the British Prime Minister to Kyiv.
“Today is a really historical day. Relations of Ukraine and Great Britain are more close more than ever. We have reached a new level, it is more than strategic relations. We signed an agreement on a 100 -year partnership, – Zelensky’s words are given.
It is noted that the agreement will deepen bilateral relations in the defense sector and provides for further military assistance to Kyiv.
According to the Government of Great Britain, the contract “will strengthen military cooperation in the field of marine safety with the help of new frames to strengthen the safety of the Baltic, Black and Azov Seas.”
The agreement also enshrines the position of Great Britain as a priority partner of Ukraine in the energy sector.
