Britain: unemployment rate increased to 4.3%

The unemployment rate in the UK in July of this year increased to 4.3%.

According to the National Statistics Office (Office for National Statistics, ONS), the unemployment rate in the country, which was 4.2%in June, increased to 4.3%in July.

According to the ONS report, the annual income of the British without taking into account the premiums in the country in July grew by 7.8%. The ONS statement notes that the rate of increase in income in July became the highest in annual calculus since 2001.

Assessing the data, the finance minister Jeremy Hunt said: “We must adhere to our plan to reduce inflation in order to ensure a steady increase in real income.”
