Britain, USA and Finland conducted joint military exercises

About 150 British military joined the exercises held in Finland by the American and Finnish armed forces, the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom said.

750 military of three countries took part in four -day exercises. The exercises took place a few weeks after the NATO countries signed a protocol on the inclusion of Finland in the Alliance, BBC reports.

Finland and Sweden have retained neutral status for many years, however, after the Russian Federation’s invasion of the Russian Federation, NATO decided to join Ukraine. The length of the total land border between Russia and Finland is almost 1.3 thousand km.
