Britain will announce ban on import of Russian oil

Great Britain is preparing to ban the import of Russian oil, the official statement will appear on Tuesday, March 8 – on the same day a similar application from the United States is expected. It is reported by Politico with reference to three interlocutors.

According to information, British officials stated that the introduction of a ban will last for several months to allow the world market to adapt and calm the people in panicly buying people. The ministers emphasize that the population will not need to be styled by fuel, since Russian oil is the minimum part of the British energy balance.

At the same time, the ban on Russian gas will not be, but British officials confirmed that this issue is still discussed by the Government of Great Britain.
