The Minister of Exports of the International Trade Department of Great Britain and the representative of the Secretary of State in Parliament Graham Stewart arrives in Azerbaijan with a three-day visit to strengthen trade and economic ties between the two countries. It is reported by Trend with reference to the Embassy of the United Kingdom in Azerbaijan.
According to the report, within the framework of the visit, which will begin on May 20, the possibilities of cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources will be discussed, supported by the United Kingdom of Economic Diversification and Energy Transition of Azerbaijan.
During the visit, the British minister will hold meetings with ministers of energy, economics, transport, communications and high technologies, ecology and natural resources in order to discuss future cooperation with Azerbaijan to diversify the economy and transition to renewable energy sources.
In addition, the British minister will take part in the 4th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between the governments of the United Kingdom and Azerbaijan and in the opening of the British Chamber of Novosordable in Azerbaijan.
