British Minister Compared Zelensky With Churchill

British Defense Minister John Hili compared the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky with the former British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, who did not hold the election during the Second World War. The British minister said this based on the results of negotiations with the Norwegian colleague Torah Sandwik in Norway.

Khili noted that the cessation of a military conflict in Ukraine and the preservation of NATO force and unity meet the most important interests of Europe and the United States in terms of their security. “This is what we discussed with the Americans and will continue to do it,” he said.

The British Minister also commented on the statements of US President Donald Trump about the elections in Ukraine, who accused the Ukrainian leader of “dictatorship”.

Zelensky – “Leader, devoted to his country,” what, according to Hili, he personally became convinced.

The British Minister noted that Zelensky is “the chosen leader of Ukraine, and he did what Winston Churchill made in the UK during the Second World War – suspended the elections.”

Earlier, the head of the White House marked a post in Truth Social, in which he called the president of Ukraine “a dictator without elections.”
