British Prime Minister Kir Starmer in a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky expressed his support as a “democratically elected leader” of the country.
As the British Prime Minister reported, Starkmer held a telephone conversation with Zelensky.
The British Prime Minister noted that the refusal of the elections in the context of the conflict is a completely reasonable decision. According to him, Great Britain also acted in the same way during the Second World War.
In addition, Starkmer emphasized the importance of joint work and announced the support of US efforts to prevent future attacks from Russia and achieve a strong world.
The conversation of Zelensky and Starmer took place after US President Donald Trump called the president of Ukraine a “dictator” and criticized him for refusing to go to the polls.
Earlier, the head of the White House marked a post in Truth Social, in which he called the president of Ukraine “a dictator without elections.”
