In the capital of Belgium, Brussels, the dynamics of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU has been discussed in recent years.
As Dunyo reports, a delegation of Uzbekistan, headed by the special representative of the President on foreign policy, Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting with the head of the office of the EU Supreme EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Vivian Lunly.
“The meeting discussed the dynamics of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU in recent years, as well as joint steps for the development and deepening of multifaceted connections between Central Asia and the European Union,” follows from the publication.
Vivian Lunelah, on behalf of the head of European diplomacy, KAI Kallas expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan for the initiative of holding on April 3-4 the first official summit in the history of “Central Asia – European Union” in Samarkand.
It is noted that the EU leadership and all 27 EU member states unanimously supported the organization of this historical summit, which should help strengthen open political dialogue and mutually beneficial practical partnership between the two regions in the political, economic, economic and cultural and humanitarian regions.
