Budapest and Baku signed a political agreement according to which the volume of supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Hungary will increase to about 1 billion cubic meters.
This was stated last Sunday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of the European Country Peter Siyyarto, local media reported.
According to him, in the Four quarter of 2023, Hungary will purchase 100 million cubic meters of gas.
The head of Hungarian diplomacy also recalled the storage agreement of 50 billion cubic meters of Caspian gas in the tanks of Hungary.
Siyyarto said that Hungary has long developed cooperation with Azerbaijan, and the political agreement provides for a further increase in gas supplies to a billion cubic meters.
