By order of Armenia, special services listened to leader of opposition of Greece

In Greece, a scandal is flared up with listening to the mobile phones of the leader of the opposition party of PACOS and member of the European Parliament Nikoos Andrulakis and the Greek journalist Tanasis Kukakis, Anadolu reports.

Katimerini Greek newspaper claims that the requirement to listen to the phones of Andrulakis and Kukakis “proceeds from Ukraine and Armenia.” The ambassadors of these countries in Athens – Sergey Shutenko and Tigran – Mkrtchyan denied this statement.

The newspaper journalists write that the scandal with listening to telephone conversations, which led to the resignation of the head of the National Intelligence Organization (EYP) of the Panayotis of the Containe and Secretary General of the Prime Minister Grigoris Dimitriadis, there were “external links”.

The newspaper, without revealing its sources, said: “Information was discovered that the request came from the special services of Ukraine and Armenia.”

The leading opposition party Greece – the coalition of the radical left -wing (Siriza) accused the Prime Minister Kiriakos Mitsikithais of “trying to engage the third of the country into a scandal with eavesdropping and transfers his responsibility to others. For his salvation, he speaks of all lies. He must resign immediately. “

At the same time, Prime Minister Kiriacosik abouthletes denied the accusation about the scandal with eavesdropping: “This is wrong information. I did not know anything, I would never allow this.”

Nicos Andrulakis has already filed a complaint with the Supreme Court of Greece due to the discovery of listening to his phone and unauthorized access to his personal information.

Anadolu recalls that on June 28, Andrulakis took advantage of the services of a special service of the European Parliament to check his phone for spy software. When inspecting the phone, a suspicious link associated with spy software called Predator was discovered. In April, spy software was also discovered on a mobile phone of a Greek journalist Kukakis. The International Press Institute (IPI) appealed to the Greek authorities with a request to investigate the fact of using a spy program on a journalist’s mobile phone.

After the scandal that has broken, the head of the Greece National Intelligence Organization (EYP) Panayotis Contoleon filed a petition for a resignation. The Secretary General of the Prime Minister Grigoris Dimitriadis also left his post, who, presumably, had commercial relations with the producer of Spy.

Dimitriadis is the nephew of the Prime Minister of Greece Kiriakos Mitsikitisis.
