The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan decided “On measures to ensure the activities of the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between the Azerbaijan Republic and the Republic of Armenia”.
According to him, to organize the current activities of the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia (hereinafter – the Commission), the Commission Secretariat was created.
It has been established that the Commission Secretariat is organized as the department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the AR and consists of 5 regular units.
The Secretariat prepares and organizes the work plan of the commission, the expert and working group, the draft issues for consideration at meetings of the commission, the expert and working group, as well as draft legal acts with the participation of members of the expert group or the working group; issues issues referred to the powers of the commission to consideration of meetings of the commission, expert or working group; receives information, opinions and proposals on issues under consideration from relevant state bodies (institutions), enterprises and organizations, regardless of the form of ownership and legal form; organizes and coordinates the activities of the commission, expert group and the working group, conducts office work of the commission, draws up the minutes of the meetings and submits draft final documents to the chairman of the commission; ensures the distribution of information on the issues considered and decisions adopted at the meetings of the commission in the media in agreement with the chairman of the commission; performs other tasks related to the implementation of the commission.
According to Haqqin.az in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the decision was prepared in order to ensure the implementation of part 2 of the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic No. 3272 dated May 23, 2022 “On the formation of the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia”. According to the decision, in order to organize the current activities of the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, the Commission secretariat was created, the directions and organization of its activities were determined.
