The official representative of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid denied the message of the Ethiopian authorities on the agreement on the issue of filling the reservoir with the dam “Renaissance” (Hedasi) on the Blue Nile.
According to him, the Ethiopian side voiced the “statement far from reality”, which causes only “regret”.

Earlier, the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry announced an agreement with Egypt and Sudan on the issue of filling out the terms of water and the volume of water in the Hedasi reservoir from the hydroelectric power station.
Ethiopia, Egypt and Sudan have been debating around the Hedasi project for more than 10 years.
