Canada will allocate 15 million Canadian dollars ($ 11 million) for the equipment necessary for Ukraine for the clearance of territories, BBC reports.
“According to the assessment of the Ukrainian authorities, terrestrial mines were found at 30 percent of the country’s territory,” said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Melanie Zholi.
