Canada will provide Ukraine with additional military assistance in the amount of 500 million Canadian dollars (373 million USA), the country’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the Big Twenty summit at Bali.
“Today, at the G20 summit in Bali in Indonesia, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will provide Ukraine with 500 million in the framework of additional military assistance,” the prime minister said in the statement of the office.
These funds will be allocated from the budget of assistance to Ukraine announced for 2022 and will go to the purchase of military equipment, equipment for observation and communication, fuel and medicine.
Since February of this year, the volume of military assistance allocated to Kyiv has exceeded $ 600 million.
