Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky confirmed the “unchanged” support of Kyiv.
According to the Canadian government, the parties discussed diplomatic efforts to achieve a “durable world”, which will allow Ukraine to remain “strong, democratic and prosperous” state.
Trudeau emphasized that Canada will continue to provide Ukraine with humanitarian, military and financial assistance. He also condemned recent blows to Ukrainian facilities of the defense industry, gas and energy infrastructure, noting that “without the safety of Ukraine, a sustainable world in Europe is impossible.”
