Currently, the Council of Europe has a dialogue on the development of a complex of confidence-building measures between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was stated by the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Maria Paychinovich-Buric at a meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organization for Safety and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Vienna, reports Trend.
in her opinion, the success of these measures depends on the commitment of the authorities.
“and they realize that the Council of Europe fully and firmly supports the independence and territorial integrity of its participating countries within their internationally recognized borders,” she said.
“Activity and contacts of this kind can only help ensure that the basic human rights are observed, and this trust is laid as a basis on which a robust world can be built,” Paichinovich-Buric said.
