CEC Of Belarus Accepted Documents For Registration Of Lukashenko As Presidential Candidate

Belarusian CEC accepted documents for registration of the current president of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko as a presidential candidate, BelTA reports.

From December 7 to 21, inclusive, the person nominated by the presidential candidate of the Republic of Belarus must submit to the CEC the documents necessary for registration of the presidential candidate.

The person nominated by the presidential candidate submits the following documents to the Central Commission: A written statement of consent to run; biographical information in the form established by the CEC; certificates or copies of documents confirming information about education, about the place of work and the employee’s position; Declarations of their income and property, as well as on the income and property of the spouse (spouse) and adults of close relatives, jointly living and leading common economy.

Documents can be submitted both by potential presidential candidates themselves and their representatives by proxy.

by proxy of the head of state, all the necessary documents in the CEC were presented by the chairman of the FPB Yuri Senko.

from December 22 to 31, 2024 inclusive, registration of candidates for the President of the Republic of Belarus (begins in 35 days and ends 25 days before the election).

From January 1 to January 25, 2025, election campaign will be held. Elections of the President of Belarus are scheduled for January 26, 2025
