During a visit to Tashkent, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok said her visit is a signal of cooperation for former Soviet republics, writes Deutsche Welle.
The German minister made this statement after negotiations with the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov. Speaking to the journalists, she called for preventing the unhindered strengthening of the influence of Russia and China in Central Asia.
She also indicated the need to change the Berlin strategy in relation to China. “We, the Federal Government of Germany, must develop a new strategy for China, since the Chinese political system has changed radically in recent years,” Annalen Berbok emphasized.
