Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan approved results of presidential election

The Central Election Commission of Uzbekistan summed up the final results of extraordinary presidential elections, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was recognized as the winner.

According to the CEC, in the presidential election, based on free will of more than 15.6 million citizens from voters included in the lists, or almost 80 percent, voted for a candidate who was considered worthy.

In particular, a resolution was adopted on the election of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the post of president 87.05 percent of votes who took part in the elections.

For the candidate from the Social Democratic Party, Adolat Robakhon Makhmudov voted 4.43 percent of voters.

For a candidate from the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Ulugbek Inoyatov voted 4.02 percent of voters.

For a candidate from the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Abdushukura Khamzaeva voted 3.74 percent of voters.

Early presidential elections were held in Uzbekistan on July 9.
