The Chairman of the Mazhilis invited parliamentarians to actively participate in the development of international transport and logistics cooperation.
He noted that Kazakhstan is tirelessly working on diversification of transcontinental transportation throughout the Eurasian continent.
The speaker of the Mazhilis also touched on the issues of food security, giving an example of the work of the Islamic organization for food security.
Speaking of the effective use of water resources, he recalled the One Water summit initiated by the presidents of Kazakhstan and France in New York and the plans of Kazakhstan to conduct a regional climate summit under the auspices of the UN in 2026.
At the site of the MPS assembly, meetings of the Chairman of the Mazhilis with the speaker of the House of Egypt Hanafi Jebali and the chairman of the National Assembly of Pakistan Sardar Sadik were also held. Yerlan Koshanov informed foreign colleagues about reforms carried out in Kazakhstan, and also discussed the paths of further interaction with them.
