Russia has achieved significant success in the development of the economy, and the sanctions imposed “worked in plus.” This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in the telegram channel.

“In addition to improving the level and expectancy of life, low unemployment, Russia has achieved significant success in the development of the economy, and the sanctions introduced worked in a plus,” Volodin wrote.

According to him, the French historian Emmanuel Todd, who in 1976 predicting the collapse of the USSR, also predicted the collapse of the West, who is a direct participant in the military conflict in Ukraine and the victory of Russia.

Todd in his book “Defense of the West” predicts the inevitable victory of Russia in Ukraine until 2027 and notes that the United States and the EU underestimated Russia, the chairman of the Russian State Duma emphasized.

“Without imposing its own values ​​to the whole world, the Russian Federation has become interesting to most countries that oppose Western degradation in the field of morality,” said Volodin.

He also added that at present the economy of the Russian Federation and its GDP indicator are much more realistic than the Western ones, since they are tied to material production.
