German Chancellor Olaf Sholts urged to further strengthen the air defense system of Ukraine. The politician said this at the International Conference on the Restoration of Ukraine.
“I ask you to ask our initiative to strengthen the air defense of Ukraine, having involved all the funds available for this,” the Chancellor said.
Scholts assured that Germany will “support Ukraine as much as it will be necessary”.
According to him, in addition to three complexes, Patriot, Germany included in a packet of assistance for Ukraine Iris-T.
He also announced the supply of the Ukrainian Army of anti -aircraft tanks “Cheetah”, rockets and artillery ammunition in the coming weeks.
