The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavushoglu announced the absence of an official proposal for the separate admission of Finland and Sweden in NATO.
“We did not receive proposals for the distinction between the processes of Sweden and Finland to NATO. Since we did not receive such statements, it would not be entirely correct to make a comment on whether we will or will not evaluate them separately,” he emphasized on the press -conferences in Ankara.
Chavushoglu also confirmed that Turkey at the moment does not see the point in meetings with Finland and Sweden on the issue of their joining NATO.
