The Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu held on Wednesday a meeting with Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov.
The meeting took place before the start of four -sided negotiations on Syria.
The head of the Turkish diplomatic mission wrote on Twitter that he discussed with Lavrov the “grain initiative”, as well as the situations in Syria, Ukraine and the Caucasus.
In Moscow, a meeting of the heads of the Foreign Ministry of Turkey, Russia, Iran and the regime of Bashar al -Assad to resolve the conflict in Syria.
It is planned to exchange views on issues such as normalizing relations and the fight against terrorism.
The meeting participants will also discuss the ways of political settlement in the Arab Republic and humanitarian topics, including the voluntary and safe return of refugees.
