Chavushoglu: Armenia should stop putting out territorial claims to neighbors

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlyut Chavushoglu expressed the hope that the new government of Armenia formed on the results of the election will extract a lesson from errors committed by this country in the past, reports Anadolu.

According to him, Armenia should take steps to ensure stability in the region.

“We hope that Armenia will understand that the only way to ensure stability and peace in the region is the development of good-neighborly relations with regional countries. Armenia must stop to put forward territorial claims to neighbors and start building good relationships with them. After the war, in which Azerbaijan I freed my original lands, and Baku, and Ankara are decisively ready to take steps to ensure peace and stability in the region, “the minister said.

Chavushoglu noted that the establishment of bilateral relations will create an opportunity to implement many regional projects.

“Armenia over the years has led an incorrect policy and thus isolated herself. She lagged behind in the development of the countries of the South Caucasus, but only in their own fault. Yerevan must refuse hostile attitude and think about what can be done to establish good neighborly relations with the countries of the region, “he said.
