Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Chavushoglu spoke about the priorities of Ankara voiced at a four -sided meeting in Syria in Moscow.
“At a meeting on Syria, the Turkish side emphasized the importance of cooperation in the fight against terrorism, joint efforts to form the conditions for returning refugees to their homeland, promoting the political process, as well as the need to protect the territorial integrity of Syria,” wrote the head of the Turkish diplomatic mission on Twitter.
In the discussions, along with the head of Turkish diplomacy, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Iran and the regime of Bashar al -Assad took part.
Before the start of four -sided negotiations, Chavushoglu met with Russian colleague Sergei Lavrov.
The head of the Turkish diplomatic mission wrote on Twitter that he discussed with Lavrov the “grain initiative”, as well as the situations in Syria, Ukraine and the Caucasus.
