Azercell Telecom “Children’s Hot Line” operating since 2010, took part in the 10th International Consulting Conference Child Helpline.
At the conference held in Stockholm from September 27 to 29, 2022, the director of the “Children’s Hot Line” Kyamaly Ashumova shared the experience of the operational and effective response of the calls to calls and requests. She told the audience about the short number of the 116111 service and mobile applications that work in 24/7 mode in order to provide support for children in need.
The conference participants were also informed about the work of the “Children’s Hot Line” in the online mode, subsequent full -time consultations and individually drawn up rehabilitation plans. The Director of the Service emphasized the need for cooperation with large commercial companies in order to ensure the development of this direction, giving more than 10-year cooperation with Azercell as a successful example.
In addition, the “Azerbaijani Children’s Hot Line” presented at an exhibition, held as part of the conference, its own printed and digital materials.
At the 10th International Conference of Child Helpline, the main attention was paid to the mental health of children and youth, especially during pandamia and wars, which are acute crisis situations. The conference participants noted that, according to a study conducted on the basis of appeals to the children’s hot line of Sweden, mental health and violence remain the main causes of children of children around the world.
