According to the Chiles Electoral Service, when calculating 98% of the ballots, 62% of voters rejected the offer, and 38% voted for, writes CNN.
The new Constitution would ensure complete gender equality, would add special places for representatives of the indigenous peoples and tightened environmental norms.
