Official Beijing made a criticism of the US intelligence investigation on the origin of the COVID-19 virus, calling it “political and false” and calling Washington to “stop attacks” to China, reports Reuters.
The response of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs followed a few days after the US National Intelligence Department published a full version of the 90-day investigation results conducted by the order of President Joe Bayden.
The document says that the special services cannot give an accurate answer to that, if the virus has arisen as a result of the transfer from the animal to a person or it was a leak from the laboratory. It is also argued that Beijing continues to “impede a global investigation.”
According to the so-called virus leakage theory, the virus has spread from a research center in Uhana, where he was reported to infection for the first time. The theory remains unreasonable, and China repeatedly rejected it.
Sunday October 31, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Van Wenbin said that China “categorically disagree with the initial conclusions published in the August report.”
“No matter how many times this report was published and how many versions were fabricated, he was and remains completely politicized and false,” said the representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Wang Wenbin noted that the involvement of a special service for tracking the origin of the virus is “irrefutable evidence of politicization”, and urged the United States to “stop attacking China and displays it.”
Recall that in August of this year, US President Joe Biden stated that China drags “important information” about the origin of COVID-19, adding that Beijing officials worked on the unacceptable to international researchers.
