China successfully sent four meteorological satellites into space. The launch was made from the Cosmodrome Zyutsuyan in the north-west of the country.
According to Sinhua, the satellites included in the Tianmu-1 meteorological group were launched by the Kuayzhou-1a launch vehicle on Friday at 19:20 by Beijing time and successfully reached the planned orbit.
They will be used mainly to provide commercial services in the field of meteorological data.
For the Kuayzhou-1a series launch vehicles, this flight became the 25th in a row.
