China on Monday successfully brought to the planned orbit a satellite of the remote sensing of the Earth “Gaozzin-3 01”, the Sinhua agency reports.
The spacecraft was launched using the Long March 2D launch vehicle from the Zyutsuan cosmodrome in the north-west of China.
The Gaozzin-3 01 satellite is designed to provide commercial services in the field of digital agriculture, information modeling of cities and a three-dimensional image in real time, as well as for land management, cartography, prevent and mitigate the consequences of natural disasters and marine monitoring.
This is the 516th flight of the Long march series launch vehicles.
