Chinese apparatus carried out a successful landing on surface of Mars

The first Chinese spacecraft “Tianwean-1” (“Questions to the Nebu”), launched from the Hainan Island in July last year, carried out a successful landing on the surface of Mars. Only Americans have so far managed to make landing on Mars, the Russian Air Force Service reports.

Tianwean-1 apparatus made a landing in a pre-selected area in the southern part of the Utopia Plain in the northern hemisphere of Mars. With the help of a marshode, it is planned to explore the geology of this area.

“Tianwean-1” consists of an orbital module, a landing platform and a marshode.

At the end of February, the probe came out in orbit and chose a suitable landing site for more than two months, Xinhua writes. In addition, he photographed the surface of the planet.

Zhuzjun Marshow, named after the Chinese God of Fire, now must examine the landing site before leaving the platform.
