Moldova President Maya Sandu met with Romania Prime Minister Marciel Cholak as part of a visit to Bucharest.
According to the press service of the head of the Moldovan state, the interlocutors discussed the issues of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania.
confirmed the adherence to the development of cross -border infrastructure and the strengthening of energy relationships between Chisinau and Bucharest.
Sandu emphasized that the unconditional support of Romania helps to improve the quality of life in Moldova and move in decisive steps on the way to joining the European Union.
Earlier, Maya Sandu reported on the social network X that, as part of a visit to Bucharest, she will discuss the issues of bilateral and regional cooperation with the Romanian officials.
“We are looking forward to taking part in the Congress of the European People’s Party and chat with friends and partners from all over Europe,” the president wrote.
