Agreements on cooperation in the field of economics, social protection and healthcare, concluded as part of the CIS, will not be denounced until they benefit the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mikhai Popshay during the La 360 De Grade program on Radio Moldova, Moldovan media reports.
The head of Moldavian diplomacy said that the agreement denounced by Chisinau did not bring any benefit to citizens, and some even harm.
“If such countries as Kazakhstan, other countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia, and even Russia came out of some agreements, the Republic of Moldova could not remain only because we did not make bureaucratic efforts to exit,” said the Minister.
According to Mikhai Popshaya, today the Republic of Moldova denounced 66 agreements with the CIS, of which 58 have already been terminated. Another 50 are at different stages of denunciation.
