Kazakhstan Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov signed a resolution that provides for staying in the country longer than the deadline for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, reports Kazinform.
In particular, the Kazakh prime minister signed a government decree that suspends one of the points in the rules of entry and stay of immigrants in the republic. We are talking about paragraph 16 of paragraph six, which establishes an excess of the permitted deadline in Kazakhstan. So, according to the rules, citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) can be in the country up to 90 calendar days, from the moment of crossing the borders and within the 180-day period.
However, the government’s decree temporarily cancel this clause, allowing citizens of Kyrgyzstan to come to Kazakhstan even after the expiration of the term. The document is enforced after ten calendar days after the day of its first official publication – July 29, 2024.
