The State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan announced the initiation of the case against LLC “Aztelecom” and “Baku telephone communications” (“Bactelecom”).
there noted that in order to establish compliance with the increase in prices for tariffs for the services of Azelecom and Baku telephone communication LLC (Bactelekom), an investigation was conducted with the requirements of antimonopoly legislation. The civil service also received appeals in connection with these enterprises from private Internet providers, which noted that tariff growth negatively affects their activities.
“As a result of the investigation against Aztelecom LLC and Baku telephone communication LLC, cases were instituted on the grounds of manipulating prices in order to obtain an additional advantage in the market,” Haqqin.az reports with reference to the civil service.
