Several military personnel of the Army of India were injured as a result of a clash with soldiers of the People’s Republic of China in the Tavang district in the controversial region of Arunalal-Pradesh, reports The Hindu.
According to the publication, the clash occurred on December 9. It is indicated that the representative of the Indian Ministry of Defense confirmed the fact of what happened to reporters, but did not provide details. It is reported that the representative of the department emphasized that there are much more wounded “from the Chinese side than with Indian.”
This is the first such incident after the battles in 2020, when 20 Indian soldiers were in clashes with the China troops in the Galvan River Valley.
