Classes For Azerbaijani Schoolchildren Were Held In Educational “space Camp Of Turkey”

In the educational “Space camp of Turkey”, located in the Gaziyimir region of the Turkish province, Izmir, a special educational program for schoolchildren from Azerbaijan was held.

According to the ESBAş Management Company, the program was organized by the “space camp” of Turkey together with the Azerbaijani Space Agency Azercosmos.

as part of the project 25 of Azerbaijani schoolchildren and 3 teachers were trained on space technology.

Participants got the opportunity to get to know the technologies of space exploration and took part in practical classes, simulations of flight to the moon, the creation of colonies on Mars, as well as in training on simulators for astronauts.

As the head of the space Academy at Azercosmos, Imran Mukhtarov, the program allowed Azerbaijani schoolchildren to put theoretical knowledge in practice and gain unique experience in the space of space.

Mukhtarov emphasized that this initiative serves not only the development of young specialists, but is also a striking example of scientific diplomacy between Turkey and Azerbaijan.

According to him, the expansion of such a strategic partnership is of key importance for the training of future scientists and specialists in the space sphere.
